Influenced by the photography of Anton Corbijn and Peter Lindbergh I started photographing my friends as a teenager. That was when phones had no cameras (phones were still attached to homes). I studied visual communication in the town of Monchengladbach. There I learned a lot about colour and shapes. After that, I moved to Hamburg to become photographic assistant and producer to some of the most influential german photographers working for fancy high gloss magazines and the advertising campaigns within them. I learned a lot about light, space and the do's and don’ts of the industry. Working all over the world I also learned how to get an upgrade and a good night sleep on a plane. Simultaneously I started shooting my own advertising campaigns and did some work on TVC’s as a DOP. I moved to Melbourne when Titanic was big (the movie of course).
I like graphic design, fashion, and architecture as well as stinky cheese, clouds and learning more about everything.
The studio is located on Hoddle Street with off street parking and goods bay via Henry Street. A double story warehouse with plenty of space, air con and heating.
